Along with Dr. Jack Stenner, Malbert created the Lexile and Quantile Frameworks. These measurement systems are ubiquitous in educational practice, reform, and policy throughout the world. Malbert serves on the boards of UNC School of Education Foundation, North Carolina Public School Forum, and the National Summer Learning Association in addition to being MetaMetrics Chairman of the Board.
